Feeding : Smoothing system

Before any intervention it is essential to cut off all supply of the machine
(electricity, steam, water, gas, compressed air...).

Repair
Smoothing motors M3 and M4 :
Checking
- Check the wiring.
- Power on the machine, supply the coil on the KM2 contactor manually, and check that
the motors are running. Otherwise, the motors are faulty.
Replacing
- Remove the side frame.
- Loosen the lower belt and remove it.
- Disconnect the wires of the faulty motor.
- Remove the drive pulley.
- Remove the faulty motor from its bracket and replace it by a new one.
- Reconnect the new motor.
- Put the parts in the reverse sequence.
Tension of the belt
Belt n°1 (upper)
- Remove the side frame.
- Loosen the receiving pulley A.
- Tighten the belt using the screw B.
- Tighten the receiving pulley A.
Belt n°2 (lower)
- Loosen the screw D.
- Tighten the belt using the stretching pulley C.
- Tighten the screw D.
