1. Push the oven control knob in completely
and turn in an anticlockwise direction to
the maximum position.
2. Keep the knob pushed for about 15 sec-
onds. This will allow the thermocouple to
be heated and the safety device to be
switched off, otherwise the gas supply
would be interrupted.
3. Upon ignition regulate the flame as re-
quired.
To interrupt the supply of gas, turn the knob
in a clockwise direction to the position
.
Warning!
Do not keep the control knob
pressed for more than 15 seconds. If the
burner does not light even after 15
seconds or goes out accidentally,
release the control knob, turn it to the off
position and wait for at least 1 minute
before trying to light the burner again.
Warning!
Fire hazard! Overheated fats
and oils ignite very quickly.
Lighting the gas oven manually
In case of lack of electricity:
1. Open the oven door.
2. Hold a flame near the hole in the bottom
of the oven cavity as shown below:
3. At the same time push oven control knob
in completely and turn it anticlockwise,
until the maximum temperature is
reached.
It is possible to check the flame through
the holes in the bottom of the oven.
4. When the oven burner is lit, keep the oven
control knob in for approximately 15 sec-
onds.
