CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Do not wash the body (12), mixing container (20) and blade (4) in a dishwasher.
1. Before cleaning the appliance switch it off with the (13) switch, and disconnect from the
mains.
2. Do not immerse the mixing container (20) in water.
3. Detach the blade (4) when the mixing container (20) cools down. The blade (4) is very
sharp. Exercise special caution when cleaning the blade.
4. Clean the inside and outside of the mixing container (20). The pins on the bottom of the
mixing container (20) should be clean and dry at all times. The pins should be cleaned
with a damp cloth only.
5. Do not use sharp or pointy objects to clean the appliance – they might damage
mechanical parts of the appliance or compromise its safety.
6. Clean all moving parts with warm water and cleaning liquid only. We recommend to
clean the appliance immediately after use. Immediately dry the appliance after rinsing
with clean hot water.
7. Grease the blade with a little amount of vegetable oil.
8. Never immerse the body (12) in water nor rinse it with running water. Clean the body
(12) with a damp cloth.
9. If it is difficult to wash the mixing container (20) or the blade, leave the knife (4)
attached and pour some hot water with a dishwashing liquid into the mixing container
(20) and run the appliance at speed 1 for a few seconds.
