2.5 - Troubleshooting
The table below lists the issues that could affect the QC panel, but that can also occur through damages of the control system installed on
the G.S. or from an external power source (mains supply).
These assumptions are generic and are used only to ease the explanation of the symptoms reported by the customer on the system and
report to qualified technicians who will have to intervene. The following considerations must therefore be taken only as a general value.

With applied load: load is too high
Without load: see notes AL13 par. 1.5.6
Reduce the load.
Clean filters, add coolant and/or engine oil. If
the problem persists, ask for assistance

Lack of fuel or air in pipes
Fill up the tank or purge the system "see

The supply system sucks air in
Check tightness of the pipes or the possible
activation of tear valve
2.4 - Test and alarms simulation
The protections of under voltage, minimum frequency, low oil pressure and dynamo are active when the genset is running. Therefore, all
simulations must be made when the unit is running.
ENGINE protections test
On the engine, disconnect the wire from the respective detecting probe and connect it to ground for about 3 seconds. The acoustic
alarm will go on, then the genset will stop and this alarm will be reported.
ALTERNATOR protections test
Minimum and maximum frequency (Hz):
Manually adjust the lever of accelerator or actuator, which causes a variation in speed in + or -. There is consequently a change in
frequency Hz on the display. Act until the security threshold intervenes with activation of an alarm and then lock.
Minimum and maximum voltage (Volt):
Manually adjust the VOLT on trimmer, placed on the electronic voltage regulator inside the alternator. Operate first in one direction
(+ or -) and then on the other one varying the output voltage until the protections get activated. After that, restore the voltage to the
nominal value (test to be carried out only with no load).
