This test diagnoses the possibility of writing into the FM.
During the test, bytes ‘55’ and ‘AA’ are written into the FM test
area. First writing of the ‘55’ byte is at the address 1FF00 and
first writing of the ‘AA’ byte at the address 1FF40. Next test
shifts these values by one. There are maximum 64 tests pos-

Procedure:
Look up “Write Test” in the FM test submenu using arrows or

2. From the address 1FF00 (7FF00 for 512 kB version) the first
free byte is located and the value ‘55’ is written there.
3. From the address 1FF40 (7FF40 for 512 kB version) the first
free byte is located and the value ‘AA’ is written there.
4. The test summary is both printed and displayed.
Note: If the FM testing area is full the ECR displays this fact

version or 32 kB for 512 kB version).
Procedure for reading the whole FM:
Look up “Read Test” in the FM test submenu using arrows or
enter code 3 and press
OK E
NTER
(
