To set the other tables, apply the above procedure accord-
ingly. Only select the desired table in step 1. Apply changes
to all relevant tables and only afterwards use the “Update all”
command (step 4). After the changes are done, the ECR ini-
tialises itself and requires a cashier login.
The ECR allows partitioning of the memory into tables shoWn
in the table on the facing page (default values in this table
are valid for the restaurant ECR mode).
Warning! All programmed data get erased after the “Update
all” command is issued! The ECR memory is filled with de-
fault demo data. It is recommended to back-up all the pro-
grammed data (PLU, DPT, cashiers…) into the PC. After the
memory ranges update, download the backed-up data back
into the ECR. The command is available after the monthly
report.
Note: In case the cash register’s application version is set to
cashier overlapping, all cashiers that are logged in the cash
register shall log out in order to make any changes to mem-
ory partitioning.
Note: Available memory size is displayed in the memory
ranges or service mode printout.

The ECR is capable to communicate with PC as the master
device and ECR as slave device. Communication via RS-232
allows connection of one ECR to a PC and communication
via RS-422 allows connection of maximum 32 ECRs to a PC.
