• Multiplication of items with pre-program-
med price
Example: The customer buys 12 pieces of the
same item with pre-programmed price of
14.20:
This feature helps when you need to enter a
large amount of items or you need to enter qu-
antities that contain decimals (1.5, 0.125, etc.).
Multiplication of numbers with a decimal
point is often used for weighed items (meat,
vegetables, salads, etc.) where the unit price is
known (e. g. for 1 lb, for 1 litre, etc.). The lar-
gest allowed multiplicand is 9,999.
Registering fractions of items
using departments
The cash register can be programmed for re-
gistration of split prices. This functionality is
programmed by setting the second system flag,
digit no. 6 to 0.
• Fractional entry with entering the price via
keyboard
Example: The price is determined for a pac-
king that includes five pieces of the item (e. g.
a box of processed cheese). The customer buys
only three pieces, paying three fifths of the pri-
ce of the whole box.
• Fractional entry with pre-programmed price
Example: The price is determined for a packing
that includes five pieces of the item (e. g. a box
of processed cheese). The customer buys only
three pieces, paying three fifths of the price of
the whole box.
Double multiplication of items
during registration using depart-
ments
The cash register can be programmed for doub-
le price multiplication. The function is practi-
cal, for example, when entering a sale of items
sold by area (square metres). This function
must be programmed by setting the second sys-
tem flag, digit no. 6 to 1.
• Double multiplication with entering the
price via keyboard
Example: The price is determined for a squa-
re metres. Your customer buys a 3 by 5 metres
piece.
