*Even when the communication was thru once before, if the MP-170 was not used for a
long period of time and tried to use it, the “COM Port upload Error” message may popup.
Also, this may occur after the General Setting dialog box has been opened and modified.
In such case, please go through the same process. If the communication does not get
through, please check the communication port again. If the COM Port number is
disappeared, either to disconnect and then connect the USB connector or to connect to
another SUB port on the PC and setup the COM Port number again.

How to use Calendar
Click the date dropdown button; the calendar is displayed.
If the year is clicked on the calendar, the up/down arrow is displayed.
Click the left arrow on the top of the calendar takes back to the month before.
Click the right arrow on the top of the calendar takes forward to the month ahead.
Click on the month will give the dropdown of the all twelve months.

Click to select the date
from calendar.
Show all data for the
days of this number.

Check here to show all data
including low irradiance
Check column
which you want
to display
Change graph
color
Click here and
change the scale
of the graph.

Upload the data on PC to
