Upload the parameter which is setup on the software to the Main unit.
The MP-170 takes measurement with the uploaded parameter; however, there is no
function to save the uploaded parameter in the memory, thus please manage it on the PC
itself.
*It is possible to save/load the parameter settings which were uploaded from clicking on
the “Load” button on the Measure tab screen; however, this information is not uploaded
unless the “Upload” button is clicked.

Ref. Solar Irradiance - Measure
When the “Ref. Solar Irradiance” button is clicked, the dialog box shown above is
displayed.
Select the sensor which measures the solar irradiance. Choose either the pyranometer
or the reference cell. Enter the calibration value of chosen sensor.
Enter Threshold Irradiance (Er) and Averaging measuring count. The threshold irradiance
is a setup value which hides the data that are the values below the set solar irradiance or
that are assigned on the data list in the graph tab, save tab, and/or irr. Graph tab.
Click Measure, and the pyranometer data is displayed.
Once the entering is completed, click “OK” button. If “Cancel” button is clicked, the
entered settings will be cleared.
