Parameters - Measure
When the “Parameter Setting” button is clicked, the parameter setting dialog box is
displayed as shown above.
Enter one piece of PV module parameter in the PV device area (Area), Current
Temperature Coefficient (Alpha), Voltage Temperature Coefficient (Beta), Series
Resistance (Rs), and Curve Correction Factor (K).
Next, enter the quantity of the PV module in series and parallel to calculate the overall PV
array parameter, which is used for JISC8914 STC conversion.
In the comments section, this does not relate directly with the measurement; however,
for the identification of the data, it will be useful for organizing the data afterwards.
Therefore, it is recommended to enter in each time the measurement condition is
changed. Also these items will be saved in the data file.
- PV Device Area
The area of one PV module in the array
- PV parameters
These parameters are used for correct STC conversion.
Normally Rs and temperature coefficients are internal data of PV module manufacturer.
The following values are an example of p-Si module.
Current Temperature Coefficient (Alpha): 0.002
Voltage Temperature Coefficient (Beta) : -0.07
Series Resistance (Rs) : 0.5
Curve Correction Factor : 0.005
- Solar Modules
Input the number of series and parallel connections (rows and lines) in the array
construction.
