The preparation for installation is complete. Clicking on NEXT (N) > will start
the installation. Click < Back (B) for correcting the setting; click Cancel to
cancel the installation process.
As the installation starts, the indicator for the installation status is displayed.
c. Completion of Installation
Once the installation is completed, the completion notice screen is shown.
Click Close (C).
The installation of the software has been completed at this point; however, in
order to connect the Main unit and the PC requires USB driver installation.
USB driver installation is explained in the next section.
*If the PC, which is to install this software, is connected to a network,
administrator authorization is required to install. Please Contact your network
administrator.
USB drivers
Installation of both “USB Serial Converter” and “USB Serial Port” drivers
(Installation on WindowsXP)
USB Serial Converter driver Installation
1) Start up the Windows on the PC and power on the Main unit
2)
Connect the Main unit and PC with USB cable
3) Windows finds “New device” (USB <-> Serial)
4)
“Found New Hardware Wizard” starts
5) In “Connect to Windows Update” of the wizard,
Select: “No, not this time" (WindowsXP)
Nothing (Windows 2000)
(*this window may not popup depending on the PC. If the
window does not popup, proceed to “Next”.)
Then click “Next”

Select “Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)”
7) “Search for appropriate driver in the following location” is selected and
make sure the “Include the following location” is checked. If it is not
checked, please check.
Click “Next”.
8)
Select “CDM2000” folder in “FTDI Driver” folder on the CD.
Click “OK”.
9)
Make sure there is the selected folder name appears on the “Include the
following location”. Click “Next”.
10)
The USB Serial Converter driver installation will start automatically. Go
to next step if an error message (file not found etc.) appears.
11) Once the dialog box appears for the USB Serial Converter driver
