on or off are dangerous and must be replaced.

c)

Always unplug the grinder or remove battery

before reconfiguring any power tool or changing

accessories or before putting the tool away. This

precautionary measure will prevent starting the

grinder inadvertently.

d)

Store all power tools well out of the reach of

children. Never allow people to use the grinder,

who are unfamiliar with it or who have not yet

read this User Manual. Power tools are dange-

rous when used by the inexperienced.

e)

Maintain and service all power tools diligently.

Check that all moving parts work as intended

and that they do not stick, and whether compo-

nents that are broken or damaged hamper the

proper functioning of the power tool. Have any

damaged components been replaced prior to

using the grinder. Many accidents are caused

through the use of poorly maintained power

tools.

f)

Ensure that all cutting edges are kept sharp

and clean. Carefully maintained cutting tools

with sharp cutting edges tend to jam less often

and are easier to wield.

g)

Always use the power tool, accessories,

insertable tools etc., in strict accordance with

this this User Manual. Always have due regard to

the prevailing working conditions and the task

in hand.

Using power tools for anything other than their

intended purposes can result in hazardous

situations.

5) Using and Handling the Battery Tool

a)

Always use battery chargers recommended

by the manufacturer. Using chargers intended for

use with any given battery type with batteries of

another type could result in a fire.

b)

Always use the specified batteries in power

tools. The use of any other battery could result in

fire or injury.

c)

Keep non-used batteries well away from pa-

perclips, coins, keys, nails, screws and all other

small metallic objects, which could potentially-

short out the contacts. Short circuits between

the battery contacts can cause burns or fires.

d)

Improper use can result in liquid leakage

from the battery: avoid contact with it. Rinse with

water in the event of accidental contact. Seek

medical attention should the liquid come into

contact with the eyes. Leaked liquid can cause

skin irritation or burns.

CAUTION! EXPLOSION HAZARD!

Never attempt to recharge one-way

batteries.

Protect the re-chargeable battery

from heat, e.g., through sustained

solar gain, fire, water and moisture.

EXPLOSION HAZARD!

6) Service

a)

To ensure the continued safety of the grinder,

always have your power tool serviced by quali-

fied experts and always use original spares for

repairs.
