6.6 Adjusting the skid shoes
The skid shoes are used to adjust the distance between ground and scraper bar. Depending
on the type of snow clearance, adjust the skid shoes as follows:
•
If the ground is asphalted or cemented, the scraper bar can work directly on the
ground (complete snow clearance).
•
On loose ground, the scraper bar may not touch the ground and must be adjusted to
the corresponding height (upper snow clearance).
•
Dismount the linch pin (1).
•
Adjust the skid shoes (2) to the desired
height.
•
Mount the linch pin (1).
NOTICE
The height of the skid shoes has to be adjusted to the same height on the left and the right
side.
WARNING
Projected parts
Projected parts may hit persons, animals and objects..
•
Take into account the ground when adjusting the skid shoes.
6.7 Drift cutter
The higher the engine speed, the higher the throwing distance.
6.8 Operating the snow blower
Work with max. engine speed during snow clearance. Regarding the travel speed, observe
that the engine speed does not reduce excessively (risk of plugging).
NOTICE
The higher the engine speed, the higher the throwing distance.
6.9 Moving, maneuvering the snow blower
When maneuvering or moving the snow blower, the blower drive must be switched off.
