Setup tab
The Setup tab allows you to configure the EX700i so that it is operational on your network.
Use Setup from the digital press touch panel to perform minimum Network Setup to put the
EX700i on the network.
Use Configure to specify any remaining Setup options. Access Configure from WebTools or
Command WorkStation.

When you perform EX700i Setup from the digital press touch panel, you configure the
EX700i to receive jobs over the network systems that are used at your site, including setting
network addresses and names to be used by computers, servers, and the EX700i when they
communicate with each other.
Before performing Setup, confirm that the EX700i is connected to an active network. The
EX700i queries the network for zones, servers, and server-based queues. If you perform
Network Setup without a connected and functioning network, default settings are used that
may not meet your needs.
Configure options only for the network systems that are currently used at your site. If your
network requirements change, you can change Setup at any time. If the EX700i is configured
to enable more than one protocol, it automatically switches to the correct protocol when it
receives a print job.
The submenus and options appear in sequence. Default values, where applicable, are
underlined. Words shown in italics indicate that a product- or site-specific value is displayed.
Server Name
Default server name
Enter a name for the EX700i (up to 15 characters long). This is the name by which the
EX700i appears on the network.

:
If you have more than one EX700i, do not assign them the same name.
Calibration:
Calibrate the EX700i using ColorCal. For more information, see Color Printing .
Tray Alignment:
Adjust the placement of text and images on a page so that they are correctly
aligned on the sheet of paper and both sides of a duplex sheet have the exact same
alignment. For more information about this function, see
