In Tray Alignment, if you choose A4 paper on the Bypass tray, it is displayed as simply A4.
Printing
Displaying very long document names
Very long document names are not displayed completely on the printer panel.
5.5x8.5 job not stapled
If you send a 5.5x8.5 SEF job to be stapled, an error message states that it is not possible. You can send the job as LEF
instead, and it will be stapled.
Printing preference window
For the Fiery Driver for Mac OS, if the
Printing Preference
window is opened for a Microsoft Office document and
then another application is opened and minimized, the
Printing Preference
window becomes hidden behind the
Print
window. This occurs only for the combination of 64-bit Mac OS and 32-bit Microsoft Office.
As a workaround, click
Cancel
on the
Print
window then reopen the
Printing Preference
window.
Grayscale and Black Printing
Mottling may be seen on printed output when you print a job with Grayscale and Pure Black.
Other applications
Printing JDF files
When you print a JDF job from an application, such as Adobe Acrobat, to the Fiery ES with Command WorkStation,
you may encounter a JDF ticket error. As a workaround, right-click the job in the Command WorkStation
Held
list,
select
Ignore JDF ticket conflicts
, and then print it. Resolve any runlist errors. All other print settings are preserved.
