Follow these configuration requirements:
• You can print documents with a secure password using Fiery User Authentication (see
).
• If Direct Mobile Printing is running on more than one E-42B, be sure to assign a distinct
Bonjour name to each E-42B.
User authentication problems occur if more than one E-42B is assigned the same name.
• Verify that the E-42B is connected to a wireless access point on the network.
• Verify that supported mobile devices are connected to the same wireless network as the
E-42B.

PrintMe cloud printing
Users with a PrintMe subscription can upload a document to the PrintMe cloud service and
then print the document to the copier/printer using the copier control panel.
• The PrintMe feature on the E-42B requires a subscription to the PrintMe cloud service.
• For information or support related to the PrintMe cloud service, contact Electronics for
Imaging at [email protected].
• PrintMe availability may vary, depending on the country or region.

Setting up PrintMe cloud printing
You must set up the E-42B through Configure to enable PrintMe cloud printing.

1 Log on to Configure (see
).
2 Enable PrintMe cloud printing.
• Click PrintMe.
• Select Enable PrintMe.

:
(optional) If you need PrintMe cloud printing to connect to the E-42B through a
proxy server, configure settings for the proxy server.
– Select Proxy Settings.
– Enable Proxy and enter proxy server information.
– Save your settings.
• Click Apply.
