INSTALLATION
For new installation see page 13 - 16
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The installation must be carried out by qualified personnel, voltages
can reach 400 volts DC. Installation must be done by a professional. Be sure to fallow the
connection diagram correctly.
1-
You must cancel the machine's automatic slow motion (Automatic idle) when the
magnet is used. It is highly advisable to use double electrical plug to power the
magnet.

Fix the controller to a solid surface without high vibration and far from the heating
source.
3-
Have the wires pass through the bottom of the controller in a way to prevent water
break through.
4-
Refer to the installation diagram to make wiring and double check if everything is
connected correctly.
5-
Do not close the generator’s connection box because it is possible that F1 and F2
or F1 and F4 need to be reversed; it is better to do it in this box and also if you
have coloured or numbered wires to respect.
6-
Turn the ignition key to power up the controller without activating the generator.
NOTE that the controller must stay activated during the start-up procedure to
insure the good functioning of the controller. That is why it is connected to the
ignition.

Now and every generator change, magnet size or generator RPM you will need to
make the access code (0) to reset the adjustments. Pressing 2 sec. on the right
arrow then the bottom arrow up (0) and once on the right arrow to accept.

Start the engine.

It is now time to program the system according to your system requirements; the
genuine settings are for an electromagnet of 230 volts DC. Refer to page 8.

Adjust the throttle to the maximum to maintain a good hydraulic pressure.
And to have a good generator RPM see generator nameplate. In the future the
machine will still have to run at the speed or system has been adjusted if you use
the magnet. See the dealer of the machine has this (manual throttle).

The first time you will have to press on the command or the upper arrow for 2 sec.
to activate the functions. After a while without usage (TB V+ V- TIME), you will
have to repeat this step. Press on the upper arrow and observe the activity on the
screen: volts, amps, field volts and modulation (PWM).
12-
This step must be done with a cold magnet to have a good reading of amperage for
the auto-adjustment. Push on the command or the upper arrow to load and wait
‘NEW SET UP’ message to appear and then push on the lower arrow to drop the
material. The controller adjusts automatically the magnetization (load) and the
dropping (drop) by respecting the parameters voltage. He can change some
parameters identify by an * . These parameters can be changed manually later on.

For best result he PWM should be between 600 and 800 @ 230 volt
