9. MAINTENANCE
9.1.
Preventive maintenance
All maintenance operations must be performed when the transmitter is off and disconnected from power
supply.
Normally, there is no need to change any part of the equipment, only dusting once a year is necessary.
Calibration of the transmitter may be done every 1 to 3 years.
However, in order to prolong the life-time of your equipment, changing a few wearing parts is
recommended:
•
Fans in all devices, every three year.
•
Batteries that enable saving data from display cards, every five year.

9.2.
Repair
Before repair, it is important to check the environment is not causing problems to the HELIOS transmitter.
•
Nothing switches on: check sector cables and power supply.
•
Nothing switches on: check the fuses in each Main filter block.
