2. INTRODUCTION
This manual is a general manual that was written for the customer, the installer and our engineers. Our devi-
ces are custom made and may thus differ slightly from the devices described in this manual. However, this
manual can help you understand the installation you purchased.
3. SPECIFICATIONS
3.1
BASIC DATA
The performance of our standard reverse osmosis devices is based on the following data:
-
Incoming conductivity
: ≤ 1000 µS/cm
- SDI
:
<3
- Free chlorine
: maximum 0,1 mg/l
- Feed water temperature
: 15°C
The feed water must meet the following requirements:
- Soft water or use anti-scalent
- Incoming pressure
: 3-5 bar
- pH
: 2 – 11
- Feed water temperature
: minimum 15 °C – maximum 45 °C
Depending on the nature of the application, additional requirements may be made for the water offered or the
proposed system.
4. INSTALLATION
4.1
ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
The electrical pipes and outlets must always be provided by the customer. These should be performed accor-
ding to the rules of good practice. In case of improper electrical installations, reverse osmosis will not be
started and / or the warranty will expire.
Voltage
230 VAC / 3 x 400 VAC + N + T
Hertz
50
Hz
Phase
Monophase / three phase + n grounding
Attention:
Do not recall the engine yourself to work on a different voltage, which can lead to life-threatening conditions.
4.2
LOCATION OF INSTALLATION
The customer must always provide sufficient space to place the reverse osmosis. A sufficiently large entrance
door must be present.
1. Choose a location where the device can be placed far enough away from walls and other machines. This
allows easy maintenance and / or repair of the pump, membranes, filters, etc..
2. Caution:
If the pressure pipes are placed horizontally, at least 1 meter of free space is required on either
side of the unit. In the case of vertically positioned pressure pipes, 1 meter of free space must be present
at the top.
3. A grounded outlet must be available in the immediate vicinity.
4.
A drain that can easily handle the sewage flow must be available in the immediate vicinity.
