Water connection
CAUTION!
Installation recommendation to avoid slipping hazards
We recommend DG1-III mounting the faucet above a washbasin or sink to
avoid the risk of slipping due to dripping from the swivel spout.
CAUTION!
Mounting recommendation to avoid overhead handling with product
canisters (chemicals)
The installation height recommended by us to avoid overhead handling with
product canisters (chemicals) is max. 1.5 m from the floor to the lower edge
of the canister console.
To ensure the proper functioning of the dosing unit, it is essential to observe the following
instructions:
n
In order to be able to interrupt the water supply in the event of a malfunction and to
protect the unit against the ingress of dirt particles, the enclosed angle valve must be
installed in the water supply line.
If contamination of the drinking water network cannot be ruled out, we recommend
installing a suitable filter (not included in the scope of delivery) in the unit's supply line.
n
The temperature of the water feed may not exceed 30°C.
n
At temperatures above these values, a thermostatic mixer tap must be connected.
n
Water quality: Drinking water quality - water hardness > 3 dH°
(no demineralised water (VE water), no process water)
n
The water flow pressure must be at least 0.1 MPa (1 bar) and may not exceed
0,7 MPa (7 bar). If the water flow pressure is > 0.4 MPa (4 bar), we recommend
installing a pressure reducer in the water supply line!
If the water flow pressure exceeds 0.7 MPa (7 bar), the installation of a pressure
reducer is absolutely necessary for safety reasons.
The additional supply pack contains the following items for the water connection:
n
Compression fitting, G½ to D. 10 mm (suitable for connecting a CU pipe,
Ø
10 x 1)
n
1 pc. angle regulating valve, G1/2-D10, MS chrome-plated.
You connect up the water pipe as follows:
1.
Connect the angle valve to the on-site water supply.
2.
Connect the connecting pipe (copper pipe, stainless steel flexible hose, ...)
to the angle valve.
3.
Connect the connection line (copper pipe, stainless steel flexible hose, ...)
to the unit with the compression fitting.
4.
Attach the swivel spout to the lower side of the unit.
