STEP4 Stabilize the system.
1. Wait five (5) minutes for the unit to stabilize between adjustments. When the sub-cooling matches the
chart, the system is properly charged.
2. Remove gages.
3. Replace and tighten service port caps to prevent leaks. Plus an additional 1/6 turn may be .
STEP3 Adjust refrigerant level to attain proper gage pressure.
Add refrigerant
if the sub-cooling is lower than the chart value.
1. Connect gages to refrigerant tank and unit as illustrated.
2. Purge all hoses.
3. Open refrigerant tank.
4. Stop adding refrigerant when sub-cooling matches the charging chart.
Recover refrigerant
if the sub-cooling is higher than the chart value.
