Mirror Disassembly
PLEASE NOTE
Reference images above to see how mirror glass is attached to the adjuster base.
The top two attachment points are clips that lock into square openings. The lower
attachment is a“hinge” that lifts off.

The mirror glass can only be released from the top.

Wearing gloves... tilt the mirror glass all
the way down and place both hands
behind the mirror glass through the
opening at top (1a). Fingers should be
down where the top clips snap into
adjuster plate. Apply increasing pressure
evenly until top clips release.
Once the top clips are released, push
the adjuster plate up so you can angle
the mirror glass down to release the
hinge clips at the bottom (1b).
Carefully remove the heater element
wires and any other connectors on the
backside of the mirror glass. Place the
mirror in a safe place.
