Using USB
Listening to music from USB
1. Plug the device in or insert batteries.
2. Insert the USB memory device in the USB port. Move the function switch to the
CD/USB
position and
press the
STANDBY
1
button to switch the device on. The display shows “- --” for a few seconds and the
it shows the total number of tracks.
3. Press

button to start playback from the USB device.
4. Press

button to move quickly within the track and to fi nd a specifi c location.
5. During the playback from the USB device, you can press
u
button to pause the playback and then
continue playing by pressing this button again.
6. Using
the
10+/
button, you can skip up to 10 tracks within a given folder. If you hold the button
for more than 1 second, you skip to the next folder.
7. Press
the
x
button to stop the playback from USB.
8. The USB player stops automatically when all the tracks are played.
9. If you want to switch the device to standby mode, press
STANDBY
1
. The STANDBY indicator lights up.
10. If you want to switch the device off entirely, move the
FUNCTION
switch to the
OFF
position. If the device
was in the standby mode, the indicator STANDBY light switches off after the device is switched off .
Notes:
•
If there is a disc in the CD tray, hold the
CD-USB
button for 1 second to select the USB mode.
•
This device can play tracks in the MP3 format.
Repeat function
Repeating one track on Audio CD, MP3 or USB
1. Using
buttons

, select during playback the track, which you want to play repeatedly.
2. Press repeatedly the

button, until the LCD display shows

indicator. The device will replay the
track repeatedly.
3. If you want to cancel the repeat play, press repeatedly the

or
ALBUM
disappear from the display.
Repeat playing the entire disc or the USB content
1. During Audio/MP3 CD playback of disc or USB content press repeatedly the
MODE
button until the LCD
display shows the
REP ALL
indicator. The device will repeatedly play all the tracks on the disc.
2. If you want to cancel the repeat play, press repeatedly the
MODE
button until the indicators
REP
,
REP
ALL
,
RDM
or
ALBUM
disappear from the display.
Playback of the CD or USB content in random order
1. During Audio/MP3 CD playback of disc or USB content press repeatedly the
MODE
button until the LCD
display shows the
RDM
indicator. The device will play all tracks in random order.
2. If you want to cancel the random playback, press repeatedly the
MODE
button until the indicators
REP
,
REP ALL
,
RDM
or
ALBUM
disappear from the display.
Repeat album from MP3 disc or USB device
1. During MP3 CD playback of disc or USB content press repeatedly the
MODE
button until the LCD display
shows the
ALBUM
indicator. The device will play repeatedly all the tracks in the desired folder (album).
2. If you want to cancel the album playback, press repeatedly the
MODE
button until the indicators
REP
,
REP ALL
,
RDM
or
ALBUM
disappear from the display.
Note:
•
You cannot use the Repeat album function for normal Audio CD. This function is available for discs with
MP3 tracks only.
