SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Warning:
The safety measures and instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all conditions and situations
possible. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot be integrated into any
product. Therefore, these factors shall be ensured by the user/s using and operating this appliance. We are not responsible
for damage caused during transportation, by improper use, voltage fl uctuation or by changing or modifying any part of
the appliance.
To protect against a risk of fi re or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical appliances, including
the following:
LASER SAFETY
This product uses
invisible laser radiation. Avoid direct
exposure to beam.
CAUTION: using controlling elements,
settings or procedures contrary to
this manual may lead to dangerous
radiation exposure.
ATTENTION
RISK OF INJURY BY ELECTRIC SHOCK!
DO NOT OPEN!
WARNING:
If you want to lower the risk of electric shock, do not open the
cover or the rear panel of the device. There are no components inside, which
could be repaired by the user. Always contact trained personnel of the service
centre.
DANGEROUS VOLTAGE
The symbol of lightning with arrow in an equilateral triangle is supposed to alert the user to the presence of
“uninsulated voltage” inside the device, which can be suffi
ciently strong to cause injury to a person.
ATTENTION
The exclamation mark in an equilateral triangle is intended to inform the user that in the literature
accompanying the device are many important instructions for its operation and maintenance (or service).
DANGER
When you open the covers and remove the safety fuse, you can be exposed to invisible and dangerous laser
radiation. Avoid direct exposure to the laser beam.
This symbol means that it is a device with double insulation and does not require grounding.
CLASS 1
LASER PRODUCT
This CD player is classifi ed as a laser device 1st class. On the bottom side of the
device is the label CLASS 1 LASER PRODUCT.
•
To ensure suffi
cient ventilation, leave at least 5 cm of free space around the device.
•
Do not cover the ventilation openings with newspaper, drapes or tablecloths, which would prevent free
circulation of air.
•
Do not place sources of fi re on the device, e. g. lit candles.
•
Prevent dripping and splashing water on the device and water getting in the device. You will lower the
risk of fi re and the risk of electric shock.
•
Do not place the device within narrow shelves or in cabinets with insuffi
cient ventilation.
•
The electrical outlet to which the device is connected serves to disconnect the device from power and
has to be accessible at all times.
•
There are warning symbols on the bottom panel of the device. Please, pay attention to these symbols.
Make sure that the voltage in your electrical outlet corresponds to the data provided on the label of the
device.
•
Do not expose the batteries to excessive temperatures, for example to direct sunlight, fi re, etc.
