CONFIGURATION
Here you will find the complete settings and options available for configuring your radio. From
the main menu, go to Configuration. Press the OK button to see a list of available options.
Network
Network options
•
Always on: The WLAN function remains on (faster switching from other radio modes).
•
Auto off in 30s: The WLAN function switches off after 30 seconds when not in use (to save power).
Wi-Fi channels
Not all Wi-Fi channels are available in all countries. Availability may differ between countries. Therefore, select
a WiFi channel with which you are able to get proper reception.
The various channels’ settings have been preconfigured in the factory to meet regulatory requirements in
different countries. To load the proper settings for your country, select that country from the list.
Add/Remove AP

Add AP (Scan): Finds and lists routers in the area.
•
Remove AP: Use this option to remove a previously added router.
Note: Always keep the radio within 2 metres of the Wi-Fi router when setting up.
Connection test
Select this to test the quality of your network connection.

When multiple routers are stored in the radio, select this to switch among them.
WiFi signal
Displays the strength of the Wi-Fi router’s signal, as received by the radio. Signal levels below -70 dBm are
considered weak; if this is affecting your radio reception, you may need to reposition the router or check for
potential issues with the router itself.
IP
The default IP setting is Dynamic. Depending on network configuration, you may switch to Static.
DNS
The default DNS setting is Dynamic. Depending on network configuration, you may switch to Static.
Date & Time
When the internet connection is complete, the radio automatically sets the local time. If you want to make
manual changes, use the following options:
