Streaming music
•
Once the UPnP/DLNA compatible server is configured to share media files with the radio, you can start
streaming music.
•
From the main menu, select Media Center, then UPnP.
•
It may take a few seconds for the radio to finish searching for available UPnP servers. If no UPnP servers are
found, Empty list is displayed.
•
After successfully finding UPnP servers, select the desired server.
•
The device will display the categories of media available on the UPnP server, e.g. Music, Playlist, etc.
•
Select the files you want to play.
You can set the playback mode in Configuration > Playback Settings.
My playlist
You can create your own playlist for UPnP music files. Select and highlight the song you want to add to the
playlist, press and hold the Tune
button or press and hold the OK button on the remote control until the
message appears. The song will be added to My Playlist.
Delete My Playlist
Remove all songs from My Playlist to make a new playlist.
Note: If you have a DLNA-compatible server, follow the steps above to browse audio files from the DLNA-
compatible device on the radio.
RADIO DAB+/DAB (DIGITAL AUDIO BROADCASTING)
If Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) is available in your area, the radio can receive DAB stations
(no internet connection required). The radio supports both DAB and DAB+.
Place the radio near a window and extend the antenna as far as possible to get the best
reception. Sometimes it may be necessary to adjust the direction of the antenna to improve
reception.
From the home screen, select DAB radio.
Select the DAB scan option. Press the Tune button
or the OK button on the remote control to start
scanning and display the channel count progression. When finished, the DAB Station List will be displayed.
You can select a channel and start listening. Whenever you want to add an item to the My Favourites list, press
the
button on the remote control or press and hold the button on the radio.
You can always return to the preset list by pressing the
b
button.
Note: When the DAB radio is playing, press the
B
button to display more information about the station; with
each press of the
B
button, different information is displayed, such as the frequency, lyrics (if available)
and the large clock.
New digital radio stations should be received automatically by the radio if they are part of an already received
multiplex. Otherwise, you must perform the Presets Scan again.
