Ultra HD (UHD)
Your TV supports Ultra HD (Ultra High Definition - also known as 4K) mode, which provides a resolution of
3840x2160 (4K:2K). This is equivalent to 4x the resolution of a Full HD TV by doubling the pixel count of a Full
HD TV, both horizontally and vertically. HD content is supported via native and portal applications, HDMI, USB
inputs and via DVB-T2 and DVB-S2 broadcasts.
Dolby Vision
Dolby Vision™ delivers a remarkable visual experience, with amazing brightness, exceptional contrast and vivid
colours to bring your entertainment to life. It achieves this great picture quality by using HDR and wide-angle
colour imaging technology. By increasing the brightness of the original signal and using a higher range of
colour dynamics and contrast, Dolby Vision delivers an amazing amount of detail that other post-processing
technologies on other TVs can't create. Dolby Vision is supported via native and portal applications, HDMI and
USB inputs. Set the associated HDMI input source as
Enhanced
in
Settings > System > Sources
to watch Dolby
Vision images when HDR/HLG content is received via the HDMI input. In this case, the source device should
also be compatible with at least HDMI 2.0. If Dolby Vision content exists, two predefined picture modes will be
available in
Settings > Picture > Mode
:
Dolby Vision Bright
and
Dolby Vision Dark
. Both allow users to enjoy
content as the creator originally intended with different ambient lighting conditions. Included accessories
High Dynamic Range (HDR) / Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG)
With this feature, the TV can reproduce a greater dynamic range of luminance by capturing and then combining
several different exposures. HDR/HLG promises better image quality with brighter, more realistic highlights,
more realistic colours and other improvements. It delivers the look that the filmmakers were trying to achieve,
allowing hidden areas of dark shadows and sunlight to come through with full clarity, color and detail. HDR/
HLG content is supported via native and portal applications, HDMI, USB inputs and via DVB-S broadcasting.
Set the associated HDMI input source as
Enhanced
in
Settings > System > Sources
to view HDR/HLG images
when HDR/HLG content is received via the HDMI input. In this case, the source device should also be compatible
with at least HDMI 2.0.
