3. LAN input on the back of the TV
To configure your wired network settings, see the Settings menu for instructions.
•
You should be able to connect the TV to your LAN depending on your network configuration. In this case,
use an Ethernet cable to connect the TV directly to a network socket.

Configuring Cable Device Settings
Connection method
The network type can be set to Wired, Wireless or Disabled depending on the active connection to the TV. If you
are connected via Ethernet, set this option to Wired device.
Connection speed test
Highlight Internet connection speed test and press OK. The TV will measure the bandwidth of the internet
connection and display the result when it is finished.
Advanced Settings
Highlight Advanced settings and press OK. On the next screen, you can change the IP and DNS settings of
the TV. Select the desired address and press the Left or Right button to change the setting from Automatic to
Manual. You can now manually enter IP and/or DNS values. Select the appropriate item from the drop-down
menu and use the number buttons on the remote control to enter new values. When you are done and want
to save the settings, highlight Save and press OK.
Wireless connection
Connecting to a wireless network
Your TV may have trouble connecting to some networks with hidden SSIDs. To
make your modem's SSID visible, change the modem's settings in its system.
Broadband to ISP (1)
Wireless-N router (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n) with simultaneous use of 2.4 and 5 GHz
bandwidth is designed to increase bandwidth. It's optimised for smoother and
faster HD video streaming, file transfers and wireless gaming.
•
Frequencies and channels vary depending on the area.
•
The transmission speed varies depending on the distance and number
of obstacles between the transmission products, the configuration of the
products, the radio wave conditions, the traffic and the products you are
using. Transmission may also be interrupted or disconnected depending on
radio wave conditions, DECT phones or any other WLAN 11b devices. The
normal transmission rate values are the theoretical maximum for wireless standards. This is not an efficient
data transfer rate.
•
The locations where transmission is most effective vary depending on the user environment.
•
Wireless TV option supports modem type 802.11 a,b,g & n. The use of the IEEE 802.11n communication
protocol is strongly recommended to avoid potential problems when viewing video.
