Title
The xStorage Home 3P inverter is equipped with an external earthing contact which must be
connected to the protective conductor
in addition to the earth connection provided by the GRID terminal
block for connection to the public AC grid.
The xStorage Home 3P inverter uses an external energy meter to monitor the energy flows between the
home loads and the distribution grid to implement the available operating modes.
By using a Wi-Fi dongle, the xStorage Home 3P inverter can access a local Wi-Fi network allowing to
activate the remote connection and system monitoring functions.

To ensure the correct operation of the system, it is necessary to connect the energy meter to the inverter
otherwise the system will enter into protection mode disabling the operation and signaling the failure to
communicate with the device.

The xStorage Home 3P inverter can operate only with the approved energy meter models. Contact Eaton
sales representative to identify compatible models or please refer to the appropriate power meters manual.
Insert the Wi-Fi dongle supplied with the inverter accessories in the USB port and wait for the system to
recognize the device (transparent Wi-Fi icon).

WARNING:
Use only the Wi-Fi dongle supplied with the inverter accessory. The correct functioning of Wi-Fi
connectivity is not guaranteed with not approved similar devices.
To set the correct operation of the connection it is necessary to access the configuration menu
“SETTINGS” and set the networking parameters of the “WLAN” menu according to the characteristics
of the local network to be accessed. Please refer to the xStorage Home 3P user interface display manual,
“NETWORKING” section.
