Electrical System Interface
• Recommend that all sources of SAE J-2011 wire be qualified, as actual abrasion resistance varies significantly
amongst manufactures.
• Recommend that conduit systems be qualified not to cause wire abrasion.
• Recommend environmental testing for mission critical harnessing systems. This would include indirect pressure wash,
salt spray, splash, etc.
• Conduit recommendation for TCM mating connector back shell options. Generic conduit recommendations for exiting
Deutsch back shells:
- Size 13 mm [.500]; 125 °C or higher temperature rating.
