Configuring Modbus TCP Feature
This screen allows you to set up the configuration of the Modbus TCP
feature of the PXG200E.
1.
in the toolbar of the
PXG200E configuration web page.

Click on the “Enable” checkbox
(Figure 87, B)
to enable, or disable, the
connection to the Modbus TCP server.
NOTICE: Disabling the Modbus TCP server connection will also
prohibit the use of CH Studio software for configuration of
QCPort devices.

Click on the “Enable Writes” checkbox
to enable, or
disable, the ability to write to the Modbus TCP server.
NOTICE: To ensure the security of your system, if you will not be
using Modbus TCP, uncheck the “Enable” checkbox
. This will disable the Modbus TCP connection.
NOTICE: If you will be reading data from Modbus TCP but not
writing data, enable the Modbus TCP connection and disable
the ability to write to the Modbus TCP server by unchecking the
“Enable Writes” checkbox
.
4.
Enter the “Timeout” value
(Figure 87, E)
. Range is 0 to 10000
milliseconds. Note that the “Timeout” value is the amount of time
allotted before the PXG200E stops processing a command.
