2-6 BREAKER TERMINATION BOARD (BTB)
When a JCI100 is integral to a panelboard,
two BTB’s are used (See Figure 2-6.1).
Each BTB is connected to the RIB and is
secured to the panelboard chassis. The BTB
carries the signal sent form the JCI100
through the RIB to the Smart Breakers. Each
BTB can accommodate 21 single-pole Smart
Breakers. See SECTION 2-7 for instructions
on connecting Smart Breakers to the BTB.
BTB’s are not used in either the Pow-R-
Command Control Cabinet nor the Pow-R-
Command Relay Cabinet.

NOTICE
To identify which BTB belongs on the
right side of the panel, and which
belongs on the left, look at the label at
the base of each BTB. If the label has an
“L” on it, it belongs on the LEFT side of
the panel. Likewise, if the label has an
“R” on it, it belongs on the RIGHT side
of the panel. Figure 2-6.2 illustrates
theses labels.
