PTO Operation

Note:

The electric motor powering the ePTO is activated by a hydraulic demand signal generated by the hydraulic system. It will

start and stop with hydraulic usage.

ePTO Shutdown Procedure:

Shutdown and return PTO driven equipment to storage position.

Push “ePTO” button on shift console once to shut down electric power take-off.

Turn key to “off” position to shutdown vehicle or turn key to “start” position to start engine for driving.

Note:

Refer to Truck Equipment Manufacturer/Body Company manuals for proper use of PTO tools and equipment.
