Replacement and Adjustment of the DRIVE BELT

Adjusting the Tension on the DRIVE BELT

[1] De-energize the PROCESSOR. See Page 2–5.

[2] Do the General Access procedure on Page 2–6 as required.

[3] Loosen the 3 SCREWS that hold the DRIVE MOTOR.

[4] To loosen the DRIVE BELT, move the DRIVE MOTOR.

[5] Remove the existing DRIVE BELT and install a new one.

[6] Adjust the tension on the DRIVE BELT by moving the DRIVE MOTOR.

[7] Press on the center of the DRIVE BELT until the deflection is 6.4 mm (

⁄

in.).

[8] Holding the DRIVE MOTOR in this position, tighten the 3 SCREWS.
