1. First, make sure previous instructions pertaining to basic
power connections have been observed.
2. Place the POWER switch in the ON position. The LCD
lights up.
NOTE: If the LCD does not light up after switching the power
on, check the mains power supply.

1. The keyboard Master Volume can be set between 0 and
31 by pressing the
[MASTER /-]
button. MVLXX
appears on the display.
2. Press the
[MASTER ]
and
[MASTER VOLUME-]
buttons simultaneously to reset the volume to its default
value, 24.
NOTE: If no sound comes out of the keyboard, this means the
Master Volume is set to its minimum.

The keyboard has 2 classic demo songs.
1. Press the
[DEMO]
button to activate the DEMO mode.
2. Select a demo song by using the
[+/YES] / [-/NO]
buttons or
the [1], [2] keys on the keypad.
3. Press the
[START/STOP]
or
[DEMO]
button to exit the DEMO
mode.
NOTE: In DEMO mode, the ONLY operational buttons are:

VoiCes and effeCts
There are 157 voices in total (see Appendix 1), including
128 GM voices, 6 percussion voices and 23 synth voices.
selecting a Voice
1. Press the
[VOICE]
button to activate the Voice mode. The
default voice is Voice 01. VOICE 1 and its number appear
on the display.
2. Use the
[+/YES]
and
[-/NO]
buttons to select the voice you
want to use. Its number appears on the display
3. You can also select the voice you want to use by typing its
number directly on the keypad.
4. You can now play the keyboard with the voice you have
selected.

Two voices can be heard
simultaneously
This keyboard offers a Dual Voice feature. This allows you
to improve the subtlety of your music by playing the voice of
two different instruments simultaneously when you press a
key. New combinations in voices and music are thus created.
When the Dual feature is off, the voice indicated on the LCD is
VOICE 1, when on, it is VOICE 2.
1. In VOICE 1 mode, press the
[DUAL]
button to activate the
Dual voice mode. «VOICE 2» and «DUAL» icons will light
up simultaneously. The number of the second voice will
be displayed on the LCD. You now get two different voices
when pressing one key.
2. Use the
[+/YES] / [-/NO]
buttons on the keypad to select the
second voice you want to use. By default, the loaded voice
is No 50, Strings2.
