User’s manual
1. While in Song mode (but on stop), press the
[LESSON]
button to activate the Lesson mode.
2. Three levels allow you to evaluate your performance.
You can use the [R] or [L] button to select which hand
to practice. If neither hand is selected, the keyboard will
choose the right hand automatically.
3. If both [R] and [L] are selected, you can practice the
lesson with both hands.
NOTE: The contents for practising with left hand varied
according to different types of songs. If you choose a chord
song, the left hand practices the chord, otherwise, the left
hand will be used to practise the melody.
When a song is playing, the notes and keyboard displayed
on the LCD indicate the melody and chord position, the
numbered musical notation displayed on the LCD shows the
last note played by the RIGHT track, and it will be convenient
for you to practice.
Lesson 1 – Practicing the rhythm

1. Press the
[LESSON]
button to activate the Lesson 1 mode.
The Lesson 1 indicator lights up on the LCD. In this mode,
the grading is based solely on your rhythmic accuracy and
does not pay attention to the accuracy of the note.
2. Press the
[START/STOP
] button to start practicing.
3. If
[R]
is selected, the melody of the right hand will be
muted and you will have to follow the time value of the
right hand. As long as the time value is correct, the
melody will be heard.
4. If [L] is selected, the melody and the chords of the left
hand will be muted and you will have to follow the time
value of the left hand. As long as the time value is correct,
the melody/chords will be heard.
5. If [R] and [L] are selected, the melody of both the left and
right hands will be muted. You will have to follow the time
value of both the left and right hands and as long as the
time value is correct, the melody will be heard.
6. Once the lesson is over, you receive a grade for your
performance.
Lesson 2 – Practicing the melody
1. Press the
[LESSON]
button again to activate the Lesson 2
mode. In this mode, the grading is based on your melodic
accuracy and does not take into account the accuracy of
the rhythm. The song proceeds to the next note as long as
you play the correct note.
2. Press the
[START/STOP]
button to start practicing.
3. If [R] is selected, only the left hand is played automatically
until the first note of the right hand is played. The song
proceeds to the next note only when the correct note is
played.
4. If [L] is selected, only the right hand is played. The song
proceeds to the next note only when the notes of the left
hand are played correctly.
5. If [R] and [L] are selected, the song keeps playing only
when the notes of both hands are played correctly.
6. Once the lesson is over, you receive a grade for your
performance.
Lesson 3 – melody off
1. While in LESSON 2 mode, press the
[LESSON]
button to
activate the LESSON 3 mode. In this mode, the grading
takes into account both rhythm and melody.
2. Press the
[START/STOP]
button to start practicing.
3. If [R] is selected, the right hand melody is muted.
Contrarily to LESSON 1, the right notes must be played to
produce the correct melody.
4. If [L] is selected, the left hand chords and melody are
muted. Contrarily to LESSON 1, the right chords or
melody must be played to produce the correct chords or
melody.
5. If [R] and [L] are selected, both hands are muted and only
the accompaniment can be herd. Both hands must be
played correctly to produce the song.
6. Once the lesson is over, you receive a grade for your
performance.

The three lessons offer a four-level grade: OK, GOOD, VERY
GOOD and EXCELLENT.
Once the grade is attributed, the song is played again in
LESSON mode.
