CHECKING THE  CRANKSHAFT  AND  CON-
NECTING ROD

1. Measure:

bearing or both.

Turn the crankshaft slowly.

Maximum crankshaft runout

0.04 mm (0.0016 in)

2. Measure:

bearing, crankshaft pin, or connecting rod.

Big end side clearance

0.10~0.30 mm (0.0039~0.0118 in)

3. Measure:

Crankshaft width

45.00~45.05 mm (1.7717~1.7736 in)
