Instructions for maintenance and service
ATTENTION! The following instructions are valid for usual operational conditions.
Under more difficult conditions, such as heavy dust or wood with excessive resin,
as well as long daily periods of work, the maintenance intervals should be shorter.
Sharpening the saw chain
• The saw chain should be maintained by an expert company!
Check the fill level of the oil tank
• When working, check if the oil tank contains a sufficient amount of oil.
• In order to avoid damage to the pruner, never operate the pruner without oil or if the
oil level has dropped under the minimum mark on the oil gauge.
Putting into operation
Always use protective glasses, earmuff hearing protection, gloves and firm protective
clothing!
Ambient conditions
The electric equipment is dimensioned for 230V AC at 50Hz. Check that the extension
cord is undamaged and properly connected to the power supply socket and the
instrument connector. Your expert consultant will inform you about the proper length of
the extension cord to choose.
