Assembly
Take the device out of the packaging. Remove the battery from the device by pressing
the latch down on the rear. This also applies during all adjusting tasks. Please remove the
blade guard before putting the device into operation.

ON/OFF switch
To turn on the device, press the ON/OFF switch (2) and simultaneously press the safety
switch of the bow-handle (1). To switch off the device, let go of the ON/ OFF switch (2).
Inserting and removing the battery
Attention!
The outer surface of the battery block and the tool need to be dry before the
charging device is connected.
Insert the battery in the machine handle.

Push the battery into place until it catches.
•
If you want to remove the battery press the lock button down on the rear side of the
battery and pull the battery out of the machine handle.
Charging the battery
Upon delivery, the device is not charged.
Only use the battery charging device at a temperature b 10 ° and + 40 °C.

Only use the battery charger in dry, well-ventilated rooms.

Charging
Initially place the battery into the charging station.

Insert the adapter plug of the mains adapter into the socket of the charging station.

Place the mains adapter into the outlet.
•
A red lamp now lights up on the device and thus indicates that the battery is being

charged.
The charging of a battery that is completely fl at takes approx. 4 hours.

Once the charging time is over the colour of the lamp changes from red to green. The

battery has thus been fully charged.
