4. When cleaning the appliance, never use solvent (acetone, benzole, petrol, alcohol, etc.) as these may solve
the casing material, or the internal parts of the appliance if they get into. Do not use cleaning agents with
coarse or grinding effect.
5. Never remove the cover of the appliance.
6. Before using the equipment again or before placing it in storage, the appliance and all its components should
be left to dry completely. If you do not wish to use the equipment for a period of time after cleaning, pack it

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
1. After use, always immediately clean the equipment and its attachments. Disconnect the appliance from the
electrical supply in order to clean the jug and the blending knife. Remove the jug from the engine unit and
rinse the inside in running water to remove the food residues.
After this, pour warm water - at maximum of 60 °C - into the blending jug and add a small quantity of mild
detergent taking the level up to the 0.75 litre mark on the side of the jug. Now place the jug back onto the
engine unit, and after connecting the appliance to the electric supply, operate the appliance by pressing the
cleaning speed button (2b) for about half a minute. Now switch off the equipment and disconnect it from the
mains electricity supply. Finally remove the jug from the engine unit and rinse in running water until it is
clean.
Important! Before carrying out any further cleaning of the appliance (over and above
that described in the previous point) you must always ensure that the equipment is
switched off and disconnected from the mains electricity supply by unplugging it from
the wall socket.
2. You must only start cleaning the grinding and fruit squeezing attachments after they have been removed
from the equipment and disassembled. You must clean the attachment parts individually in mild water with a
detergent, using a sponge or a soft, fluff-free cloth. Following washing with detergent, rinse the attachment
parts in running water.
3. Clean the fruit juice storing measuring bowl in a similar way.
It is very important never to immerse the motor unit in water and not to hold it under
running water.
Clean the outside cover of the appliance with a damp, soft, lint-free cloth and then wipe the cleaned surfaces with
a dry lint-free cloth. Take care not to allow any moisture inside the cover. Let the appliance dry completely before
re-using or storing it.
