b) After fixing the fruit centrifuge housing, place the chopping filtering
insert (6c) into the housing as illustrated in the figure. Next, move the
insert in both directions, and push gently downwards. This makes the
lower part of the insert fit properly into the grooves of the driving
unit. Next, check the horizontal position of the insert. If it gets stuck
when turned or if the insert is improperly positioned, both the insert
and the driving unit may become damaged. Only ever use a perfectly
positioned chopping filtering insert. A damaged insert may damage
the equipment and become a potential accident source.
c) Following this, place the fruit centrifuge attachment cover (6a) into
the position illustrated in the figure. Fit the left side projection into
the dent at the edge of the fruit centrifuge housing. Fit the cover
carefully onto the edge of the fruit centrifuge housing. Finally, fold
the security lock (6b) illustrated in the right side of the figure onto the
cover.
(Note: The fruit centrifuge is designed in such a way that the
equipment cannot be operated without having the cover in place and
securing it by the fixing lock. If the equipment doesn't start, check
whether the cover is properly positioned.)
d) Following this, place the cone (6h) used for adding materials onto the fruit
centrifuge cover (6a). Pay particular attention to adding ingredients that only
produce liquid, and prevent any liquid from flowing onto the equipment casing
where the cone and the centrifuge cover are fitted.
e) Following the assembly of the attachment, place the oval measuring bowl (6e)
under the discharge hole (6e) of the fruit centrifuge.
3. You can operate the fruit centrifuge attachment as described in point 4 of the section "Preparing a mixture".
However, it is recommended that you use the button "2" for lower speed, or use the pause switch marked "M”
as this lets you extract a greater quantity of fruit juice with pulp. When operating the fruit squeezer, feed the
chopped fruit continuously through the feeding aperture, and apply the supplied plastic filling rod (6g).
However, use the rod only to gently push down the fruit to be squeezed. During squeezing the fruit juice and
the fruit pulp will flow into the pouring bowl, whereas the fruit skin and coarse pieces will remain in the
centrifuge housing.
4. Remove skin and coarse pieces from the fruit centrifuge housing immediately after use. Clean the equipment
in accordance with the instructions in the section "Maintenance of the equipment".
Do not use the fruit extractor continuously for more than 1 minute. Following 1-minute of use you
must have a minimum period of 10-minutes at standstill. If you exceed the maximum operating
time, or do not keep to the standstill period, the driving unit of the equipment may get overloaded
and damaged.

Comments on the use of grinding/chopping attachments
1. Don't place more than 60 grams of food into the grinding unit as this may result in overload of the equipment
and cause it to become faulty.
2. If you do need to grind more than 60 grams of food, carry out the grinding/chopping procedure in several
steps.
3. The coffee grinding unit is also suitable for grinding coffee, almonds, hazelnuts, nuts, cakes and sugar. Make
sure that you do not over-grind some materials as they may lose their aroma.
4. The chopping attachment has a construction and operation similar to a coffee grinder. However, its cutters
have been designed to be perfectly suitable for chopping foods. Before putting food ingredients into the jug,
cut them into 2 cm cubes. Make sure that the ingredients do not include hard pieces (e.g. seeds) as these may
overload, damage or blunt the chopping knife.
5. Never put fluid foods or ice into the grinding jugs.
6. After use wash both the grinding jug and the grinding housing until they are clean. Use mild water with
detergent then rinse in flowing water.
7. It is important that you should never swap round the jugs used for coffee grinding and chopping. The flavours
of processed foods are absorbed slightly by the jugs during use.
8. Never operate the coffee grinder or chopping attachment whilst they are empty.
Use of fruit centrifuge attachment
Use the fruit centrifuge attachment to prepare fruit juice with pulp from different juicy fruits or vegetables (e.g.
tomatoes).
1. Carefully wash the fruit before use. Peel fruit with thicker skins and cut it into 2-3 cm pieces so that these can
pass through the feeding aperture of the fruit centrifuge attachment.
2. In order to assemble the fruit centrifuge, follow these instructions referring to the associated diagrams:
a) First fix the attachment housing (6d) to the engine unit. The fruit
centrifuge housing must be placed on the equipment in the position
illustrated in the figure. Next fix it onto the engine unit, turning it in
the direction of the arrow (anti-clockwise). The shoulders on the
engine unit and at the lower part of the fruit centrifuge housing will
click into each other. When turning make sure that the attachment is
level. Before operating, check that the locking shoulders are fitted
correctly, otherwise damage may occur both to the attachment and
the engine unit.
