Installing your car stereo

To install your car stereo:

Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit.

Remove the ashtray and the one screw inside the ashtray compartment.

Open the glove box, then remove the two exposed screws on the edge of the dash trim
bezel.

Cut and remove all mounting tabs on bracket L S-10 and the right bracket of bracket
set 5

except

the top B tab on the right bracket. Each mounting tab has a letter

stamped on the back of the tab. Cut the tabs with the blade pointed away from you
and your fingers.

Go to “Completing the installation” on page 76.
