Maintaining the ceramic glass
Maintain the ceramic hob using protection and maintenance agents for glass ceramics. Observe instructions
given on the packaging by the manufacturers.
The manufacturer shall not be held responsible for any warranty repairs caused by failing to
observe the ceramic hob maintenance and cleaning instructions.
If the surface of the ceramic hob is cracked, disconnect it from the mains to avoid the danger of electric
shock.
Cleaning metal parts of the hob
The outlet of hot air should be cleaned like ceramic glass with a damp, soft cloth using a few drops of washing up
liquid and wiped dry with a cloth.
Do not use any aggressive or caustic agents (acids, sodium hydroxide, sodium oxochlorate) for cleaning.
Similarly to cleaning the ceramic glass, metal parts may be cleaned only after the surface to be cleaned has
cooled down.
If any solid particles get into the hot air outlet (loose substances like flour, grits, rice etc.) c.) after the residual heat
indicator goes off (see: Hob operation: Residual heat indicator) lift the removable grating of the hot air outlet and
carefully remove the particles of solids from the hot air outlet area using a vacuum cleaner with a soft nozzle.
Do not clean any metal parts with scraper for ceramic hobs.
To avoid injury, never put hands into the hot air out-feed chamber, having removed its grille.
The manufacturer shall not be held responsible for any damage caused by failure to observe the
Operating and Installation Manual.
