Start up the appliance for the first time
After installation the fitter is required to start up the appliance for the first time. When the appliance is started
up for the first time there might be some snorting heard on the hot air outlet. It is a completely normal
phenomenon, caused by the presence of gases in the gas pipes and burner. The phenomenon ceases to
occur after the first start-up.

Give the user
the ceramic gas hob connection certificate.
The certificate of ceramic gas hob connection is the basis of warranty.
Please read the contents of the Operating Manual carefully and observe the given instructions.
Gas cylinders
Using gas pressure or gas type other than the pressure or type stated on the data plate can
result in irregular operation, therefore the Manufacturer shall not be held liable for any damages
resulting from improper operation of the appliance.
Use gas cylinders readily available on the market in the country the appliance is used in. The used type of gas
is specified on the packaging and on the data plate located on the appliance housing.
Always observe the following guidelines:
- Complete gas cylinders, with valve and pressure regulator, must be positioned vertically in their own
cupboard, dedicated for their use only, and must be easily accessible.
- The gas cylinder should be replaced easily and without any problems.
After using, the gas cylinder should be turned off

The following precautions should be undertaken during gas cylinder change:
a) Make sure the hob is switched off
b) Close the cut off valve dedicated to the hob
c) Make sure there are no fire or red-hot objects nearby
d) Close the valve of the gas cylinder to be replaced
e) Undo pressure regulator of the empty gas cylinder, take out the empty cylinder from the cupboard and
replace it with a new cylinder, connect the pressure regulator
f) Open the valve of a new, replaced cylinder
g) Make a leak test using e.g. some soap solution
h) Lit up the burner and verify operation of the appliance, in case of any problems ask a technician for help.
Gas cylinder cupboard
Observe the regulations of EN 1646-2, EN 1949 standards applicable for gas cylinder cupboards.
The cupboard should be big enough to house the specified type of gas cylinder with pressure regulator fitted.
In Germany, it cannot be larger than the lower limit of width and depth (325mm) and height limit of 620mm.
