USER AND PASSWORDS
8.5 DISABLING A USER ACCOUNT
If a User becomes temporarily disassociated with the system their account may be disabled. They may
be reinstated at a later date. To disable a user
’
s account:
Open the
USER ACCOUNTS
screen.
Select the
USER NAME
from the dropdown menu.
Touch on the
DISABLE USER
check box (changes from white to red fill colour).
Press the
SAVE USER
button.
8.4 SETTING USER PRIVILEGES
Open the
USER ACCOUNTS
screen.
Select the
USER NAME
from the dropdown menu. This will show their current privileges.
Press the
ACCESS & PASSWORD
button to set either
PASSWORD
(allows the user access via a
password entry) or
DENIED
(does not allow them access).
Press
ENTER
to continue (or
CANCEL
to abandon).
Press the
SAVE USER
button.
8.3 CREATING A NEW USER
Open the
USER ACCOUNTS
screen.
Press
CREATE USER
button. A dialog will open:
Please Enter a new USER NAME
.
Enter a new user name. This has to be unique (you cannot reuse names).
Press
ENTER
to continue (or
CANCEL
to abandon).
A dialog box will open
Your Password Has Expired Please Enter a New One
. The new user should
enter a new password.
A second dialog box will open
Please re

enter your password
. Re
-
enter the same new password.
Note that the
NEW PASSWORD
checkbox is automatically set (
BLUE
). This will require the user to
create a new password when they next use the system. If it is un
-
checked (WHITE), then the current
password will remain valid.
User privileges can be set at this time (or later). See Section 8.4.
Press the
SAVE USER
button.
8.6 DISABLED USER ACCOUNT
If a User enters a number of incorrect password (as set in the
SYSTEMS SETTINGS
screen) their
account will be disabled. To re

enable their account:
Open the
USER ACCOUNTS
screen.
Select the
USER NAME
from the dropdown menu.
Touch on the
DISABLE USER
check box (changes from red to white fill colour.
