7.14 CONTROL UNIT NBB 

Characteristic: Transmission and reception frequency range 400 – 477 MHz 

When removing and reconnecting harness connector from/to the control unit be careful not to damage the 

contact pins in the connector

Diagnostic leds: 
 

LED 1 green:  

POWER ON. If led fails to come on, check the power suplly. 

 

 

If the power lead is OK, control unit is probably at fault 

LED 2 yellow:  HF PRESENT. Steady light when transmitter is switched on 
 

 

(insignificant for scanner operation) 

LED 3 green:  

Flashes evenly during fault-free operation. 
Irregular flashing means that the HF channel is probably at fault-select another channel. 

LED 4 red: 

If this led flashes, the HF channel is at fault (not in the scanner operation).
