Service Manual for Speed Oven Model DSO 500

HEATERS AND THERMAL CUTOUTS - NOTES

Figure 11B. Thermal Cutouts

Operational Testing

The heating elements require the control board to

be properly functioning. The solid state relay LED

should be illuminated for the heater element to be

turned on. When testing the heater elements the

temperature in the oven must be less than 274°C

so that the thermostats remain closed.

Test Procedure

Close oven door. Check for operating voltage

across heater terminals. Unplug oven and check

continuity across heater coils. If a heater coil

shows high resistance coil is probably open.

Replacement

Refer to detailed procedure in the REPLACE-

MENT section of this manual.
