6. Enter the new duty area and press *ANS .
a. “Waiting for Data” appears briefly. If the duty area name is valid, an acceptance
tone sounds (two high pitch beeps) and the base master returns to Figure 3-19 .
b. If the duty area name is invalid, an error tone sounds (two low pitch beeps) and
the base master returns to Figure 3-19 . Re-enter the duty area name or press
#CNCL to exit.
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 to assign other swing stations to duty areas.
8. Press #CNCL repeatedly to exit the menu and return to the normal display. If you do
not, the base master automatically exits the menu after a programmed interval.
