Rearview mirors
(fig. 26)
The rearview mirrors consist of two parts joined by a
special internal spring that allows the mirror to rotate relative
to the headlight shell, in the event of a sudden impact.
After the impact, the spring allows the mirror to return to
its original position.
Notes
The rearview miroors must never be folded bac:
the internal spring is only a safety system.
Important
If one of the parts becomes detached, or for repair or
renewal of the mirror, contact your Dealer or Authorized
Service Centre.
Warning
Do not ride the motorcycle without the rearview
mirrors, as the lack of rearward vision would be extremely
danagerous and could result in a serious accident.
To adjust the mirrors for optimum visibility, simply push or
pull the outside of the mirrors in the required direction.
Tighten the screw at the bottom of the mounting to lock
the mirror in the required position.
Warning
Never attempt to adjust the position by moving the
whole mirror assembly, as this could break it.
