●
spring preload: 14 mm (0.55 in) from fully
uncompressed spring.
Recommended setting for racing use:
●
rebound (1): open 8 clicks counter clockwise from
fully closed position;
●
compression (2): open 2 turns counter clockwise
from fully closed position;
●
spring preload: 14 mm (0.55 in) from fully

Attention
The shock absorber is filled with gas under
pressure and may cause severe damage if taken
apart by unskilled persons.
When carrying a passenger and luggage, set the rear
shock absorber spring to proper preload to improve
motorcycle handling and keep safe clearance from
the ground. You may find that rebound damping
needs adjusting as well.
Standard settings of the vehicle as delivered (factory
settings specified in the previous paragraphs)
correspond to a calibration which considers all use
conditions (riding conditions, rider's skills and
needs), and is the best solution for a sport use of the
motorcycle on the road.
